A Local Dental Office Focused on Comfort and Care

Dr. Joel Morris, DMD, purchased the practice from Dr. Woodward in June 2023 and continues the office’s long-standing focus on friendly, family-centered dental care.

Dr. Morris graduated from UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2016 and is experienced in many areas of dentistry, including implants, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, fillings, extractions, and preventive care. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing pickleball, hunting, and fishing.

Our goal is simple: provide quality dental care in a relaxed, welcoming environment where patients feel known, respected, and cared for.

I’m extremely uncomfortable going to the dentist, so finding the right office was important to me. I drove all over Spokane looking for someone I felt comfortable with, and the moment I walked in, this office felt different—like they already knew me. I had broken a crown. After examining everything, they explained that I would need a dental implant, which honestly filled me with fear. What impressed me most was how patient they were. They took their time explaining the process and answered several follow-up calls with kindness. I am not the easiest guy to calm down. I recently had the surgery and expected a lot of pain afterward, but I actually fell asleep in the chair. Since then, I,m on day 2, I’ve had very little swelling and almost no pain. That was the icing on the cake for me. The biggest frustration is the soft diet, Im hungry..lol. This is still a 6- to 8-month process, but so far my experience has been A+++++!

Dr.Morris is a wonderful dentist! His staff are so professional and friendly, they make you feel at home and cared about! The hygienist are amazing and do absolutely amazing work! I see Mackenzie, she is professional, sweet and caring!!! I highly recommend Wandermere Family Dental!!

Wandermere Family Dentistry has been a truly helpful and welcoming place. I always come in with a smile, and they’re always clear and transparent with billing—even with my basic preventative dental insurance. Dr. Morris and all the dental technicians are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Morris. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Morris is incredibly skilled and took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I understood my treatment options. Their gentle approach and attention to detail made even a typically nerve-wracking procedure surprisingly pleasant. Kathleen did an amazing job with my cosmetic fillings on my front teeth. She was gentle and highly detail oriented. I had a previous filling which had chipped and a “peg lateral” that Kathleen built up. She matched the shades perfectly. You can see the before and after pictures. The office is modern, clean, and equipped with the latest technology, which gave me confidence I was receiving the best care possible. I also appreciate how punctual they are—no long waits, which is rare these days!
